Brian Kassel, the founder of Kassel Construction has more than a decade of construction experience and is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Architecture. .
Growing up in the University Neighborhood (of Syracuse, NY), Brian began working for local landlords doing painting work and small repairs while in high school. He then worked in NYC on Art Gallery Installations that involved museum-grade wall construction, plastering and painting. Brian then worked on the design and construction of electrified railway construction in Brooklyn, NY. After that project ended Brian worked in the mountains of Southeast Arizona on the construction of several off-grid cabins constructed of alternative green materials such as earthbag (superadobe), strawbale and adobe block. Recently, Brian created architectural plans for a new proposed structure for a historic district in Downtown Tucson, Az. This proposal was approved by the local and regional historic boards, and ratified by mayor and council.
Brian now lives the majority of the year in Syracuse, NY - a place were there are many old houses that need fixing and renovating. We not only build and design but we also do consulting work.
