Brian Kassel, who heads Kassel has decade of historic restoration, related experience Brian is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Architecture. and holds graduate degrees from Virginia Tech and Columbia University .
Growing up in the University Neighborhood (of Syracuse, NY), Brian began working for local landlords doing painting work and small repairs while in high school. He then worked in NYC on Art Gallery Installations that involved museum-grade wall construction, plastering and painting. Brian then worked on the design and construction of electrified railway construction, and historic rail car restoration in Brooklyn, NY. After that project ended Brian worked in the mountains of Southeast Arizona on the construction of several off-grid cabins constructed of alternative green materials such as earthbag (superadobe), strawbale and adobe block.
Our projects now exclusively focus on the Syracuse, NY area - a place were there are many old buildings and houses that need fixing and renovating. We not only build and design but we also do consulting work.
